Cache Valley’s Boy Scout Troop #1 this afternoon participated in Veterans Appreciation Day ceremonies held at the Cache County Fairgrounds northwest side. Troop #1, is well known throughout northern Utah’s BSA Trapper Trails Council for their community service work , assisting organizations who would like a flag ceremony performed with respect and reverence.
Boy Scout Troop #1 was invited by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 12076 of Logan, Utah to perform a USA flag ceremony, followed by a USA flag retirement ceremony at the June 21 Veterans Appreciation Day. Boy Scout Brodi Bethers was in charge of the 5-scout ceremonial contingent, with scouts Joseph Smith, Ian Davidson, Nathan Cicco and John Coleman assisting in both ceremonial duties.
