From the 2nd to the 3rd troop 1 went on a klondike near Limberpine! We grabbed our gear in Logan and drove to our destination. We then climbed the hill in the deep snow with all our gear on our backs. We then set up camp and started digging our snow caves for that night. The view was fantastic because a fog had slowly descended on the valley below. A warm dinner awaited us next to the campfire as nightfall crept along. While it was a very cold night (right before the sun had risen it was around 4 degrees Fahrenheit) we survived. We ate, packed our gear, and started on our orienteering course. The view was fantastic during our journey and the orienteering course was also fantastic. We returned to Logan having conquered a cold winter Klondike and learned many new skills.
