This past Saturday we cleaned up the Utah State Football Stadium. It took a while and it wasn't easy, but it was a great experience and a good fundraising activity. After we finished cleaning the stadium, we helped fold the large flags they had flying over the stadium.
All of the scouts who went to Philmont had lots of fun. Whether it was backpacking, climbing, cutting trees, or any of the other stuff we did, we had fun. The ride both ways was long, but we stopped at cool places along the way.
Having fun on the Klondike! Roughing it out in the cold. On the 14th Troop 1 camped by Crystal Hotsprings. The scouts had a lot of fun! Combined with the hotsprings, slides, and football that was thrown around it was an awesome trip!
Today troop 1 hosted a flag day event at Terrace Grove! The scouts in their class A prepared a flag ceremony and speech in honor of flag day.
On the 8th of June Troop 1 visited the Cache Valley Gun Range for the rifle shooting merit badge with Wade Pierce! After a class about gun safety the scouts shot .22s in the gun range! It was a blast :) !
